Verity is a blind international dressage rider, global speaker, singer/songwriter and author.
Dressage Rider
Verity believes in advocating the ability in disability and relishes the challenge of defying convention and breaking down boundaries.
In her equestrian career Verity has represented Great Britain as part of the Paradressage team GB and is currently competing at Able Bodied Elite level and winning. Her goal, with her dual nationality, is to represent France as a member of the Able Bodied Olympic Team. Another global first.

Verity is an accomplished inspirational speaker who has presented to many international corporations at prestigious events.
As speaker in both French and English, Verity inspires, motivates, educates and entertains with her positive attitude.
Singer/Songwriter
Verity’s passion for music has led her to work with several award winning artists including Sacha Skarbek ,Paul Herman, and Craig Armstrong
Her album La Verity was debuted at the Purcell Room Southbank London. She is currently signed to Saxology Entertainment UK.
To celebrate the ParaOlympics for Rio 2016 she composed and recorded the song ‘Supersonic’ which was performed in Britain, Australia, USA and Brazil.
Author
Verity’s book ‘The Gropers Guide ' is the first part of her autobiography which offers a humorous insight into the hidden world of the unseen.
The book gives a humorous account of the travels and tribulations that she experiences while growing up as a blind explorer. We follow her journey through a wonderland and watch as, just as they did for Alice, things for Verity become ‘Curiouser and curiouser’.

Verity's only concession to her blindness is her labradoodle Guide Dog ‘ITV This Morning’ star Luna.
As a campaigner, Verity has:
Campaigned successfully for guide dogs to have the right to travel on commercial flights, Eurostar and SNCF.
Represented Guide Dogs in the House of Lords for the signing of the High Street Charter – regarding accessibility for disabled shoppers.
Campaigned for better awareness of disability in Sweden.
Creator and force behind the Beat The Blind Campaign, launched in 2015, in order to overturn the blindfold ruling for blind Para dressage riders. Although the ruling was not changed in time for her to go to Rio, through her efforts it was changed and ratified in November 2016.
“When I was told at the age of eight that I was going blind and would never be able to drive a car, I replied, “That’s ok my horse can see for me’’. So it was, as the world faded from my eyes, horses solidified in my heart, enabling me to ride the storm of my disability.”
